I was like you in yr situation faced when I was 19 yrs old..Being faced in such a situation , I accepted relationship with that girl because I does not wish to have given up friendship with her. The truth came to known when her parents and including her sister confronted me, I was threatened and was afraid. Not only I was deeply hurt I lost ‘relationship’ truth is I felt like I was dieing at that time. Fortunately I had a couple of really good buddies that I can talk to and I got over it ..I thought my life was an end without that girl ..But today when I looked back on how we started off that kind of friendship I felt very much ashamed that I shouldn’t had started at all. Get it?
