She's driving me nuts. Do all the wrong things. Brief her ahead that she should do this this this but the end result is she did that that that. How to tell her she's very wrong yet doesn't make things ugly?
open mouth.
say "you are wrong"
Done.
listen to her explanation why she did that instead of this
Who is the "she"?
Pet and person (dependent on age also) is quite different. ![]()
Tell her straight to the face, if she really loves you, things will work out, if she does'nt, things mught get ugly
"u stupid bimbo... sala lah... wrong wrong wrong..."
"if i may suggest..."
"would you listen to me just for awhile?"
"i need you to do this with me..."
who's the person? is she ur colleague or what?
"i would deeply appreciate it if u could follow my instructions closely"
"are my instructions unclear? because i really need u to do things just like how i've briefed u"
hey thanks .. its a colleague and quite driving me nuts.
Are you like a human instruction manual. Instruction Manuals are hard to understand and the instructions not rememberable.
Tell her the purpose of doing certain task. Like " This must reach the bank by 2.00pm."
Instead of "When all this is finished, you take the pink slip, fill it up and attach here, and put all into the envelope, then write on the envelope the bank name, then call Ah Seng and ask him to sent the envelope to the bank, before 2.00pm."
When she understand the purpose she will perform better, and even exercise her initiative when things don't go well. Require her to follow instructions, and she will do just that, if she can remember all of the instructions.
A colleague, but is she your subordinate? If so, sometimes it's effective to bring this up during appraisals, or feedback sessions.
Otherwise, it is best to draft out your instruction n send her via email. This way, she can always refer to the black-n-white n follow accordingly, n there shd be no excuse for blunders.
