Hoes before Bros??

I found out that many people tend to put their relationship partners before their friends no matter how close they are.
For Example, last minute calcellation of plans juz because gf/bf wana meet up last minute AND "dunno la, see first, not sure meeting gf/bf not.
I find it very irritating when its overly done. Like all the time.
Just wondering weather its normal for all people to do this?

It is true that many put r/s above friendship but last min cancellation is more of individual practice.

thats quite normal, but i hate when one of my buddies bring along his girlfriend on a all guys meet-up. Somehow it will spoil the whole mood.

why not put yrself in their shoes
if you have a gf next time, would you want yr gf to devote more time to her frens than to you? I'm sure you want to be her priority too

it takes a fair bit of juggling to handle both but normally those who grumble about this issue are those who are not attached.

it's the matter of piority. i don't think it's wrong either way.
if ur friend spends more time with you, the gf may feel upset also. so if you ask me, it's a lose-lose situation.
i'd like to think it in a higher level.
because we live in an imperfect world, it's not possible to satisfy everybody, and we are bound to offend some ppl, even if we want very much not to offend anyone.
so i guess u felt neglected and that your relationship with your friend wasn't being treasured. do bring it up to him lovingly. but let him decide for himself, without any pressure from you, how to improve the situation.

Girlfriend--> wife --> family member
Brothers --> Brothers (if still got contact) --> Strangers (if never keep in contact)

Well, in these cases, I usually ask for his girlfriend's number, so that we can tell her to buzz off when we want go out on a date with her boyfriend.
If she complains or wants to tag along, we'll tell her we're trying to convince him not to break up with her, because he feels that she's becoming very 'sticky'...it's for her own good. For both of them.
You should try it. It's very effective.

i suspect your gay and you are deeply in love with your friend and you get upset when he goes out with his gf cause your jealous he doesnt spend time with you.
