How to win back a guy's heart?

I tried to confess to him ... saying im sorry etc and he ask me not to wait for him anymore. He prefer his single life even though he admitted that he still likes me a bit..
I was thinking.. since he is having his exams now.. maybe i can wait after his exams and try to win him back? i know my chances might be very less but i really still wanna try ! >< Im not sure what guys likes etc so im asking what i should do ... im hoping for that miracle that we will patch back ><

carving knife, anti bacteria wipes and glove.
ok jokes aside, since he asked you not to wait for him anymore, why don't you take some time off, cut yourself some slack and get a new pet? they're usually more reliable than guys and serve as good distraction.
why waste energy on somebody who doesn't want to be with you?

For eg, i m sure u have read, heard ... many utter that life is .... u add on, so eventually a definition unconsciously gets imprinted in your psyche- and one adopts an attitude that life, a person, love or .. is suppose to be like this or like that. . Of course, all of us know life changes cos that is the way existence is - it flows, so when one does not define ... - one is open to anything - one partakes of the expereince, one appreciates life first hand; of course, it is risky, one is vulnerable, cos the unknown is always feared. Hence, the fear of love. When i say when one is not - one is what he/she is being now - by that i mean - I can think i m a good person, that does not mean i m good, its only in the mind, reality is what m i being now - (eg)being kind ,being cruel .... its akin to holding a book and thinking that one is reading it or going to read it .... When one is reading the book, that process is the real thing, the rest is merely merry go round thinking! Everybody talks about relationships, but sadly, many forget that it is the RELATING that adds quality to the relationship(s) - it could be at wrok, school, ..... I have kept it simple and if u catch no ball - its ok
