If a girl asked if i got a girlfriend twice. What it means?

The first incident was like a random moment, and everybody was slacking and stuff. There was just me another girl and her. She just asked "Issac, you got a girlfriend?"
But i asked "why?"
She say "just asking"
Then her friend come and pull her to join her for some dunno what shit ah.
She was like "you got right!" with a slight smile or something.
The second was during lecture, then the guy was talking about people being in love and saying that we all gonna fail test cos we got bfs/gfs etc
so as usual, everybody went nuts and all hahaha typical.
She was sitting beside me.
She said "You got a girlfriend right?" which I said no.
Then she said "you will find one soon" with a consoling sort of smile, and she patted me on my shoulder.
And I did thought of her back then, I still do, but its like we hardly talked!
I dont mean like we just HI bye, but rather we arent that or very close yet.
do I stand a chance?

i wont say i really fully like her, but i feel happy or at ease with her around.
those small moments just keep me thinking back and stuff.
we are both in the same cca btw, so we do kinda know each other a bit
and i doubt she will do those sort of 'stuff' cos she is a leader type of person
and also that many of my friends who knew her and her ex told me that her ex cheated on her. -

cos last time, i knew her cos she was the committee member, and she never back down etc. its only her friends tell me that she like this guy etc etc. so yeah i was shocked.
