Hi,
I am thinking of buying a present for my new found guy friend of only 1 month plus for his birthday. What present should I give him? or should I not even buy him any present?
He collects figurines, sometimes fiddle around with his small soft toy,
Should I buy him a soft toy? Is it too much 'gf's present feel?' since I am only his ordinary friend. What else?
"sometimes fiddle around with his small
soft toy"
this sentence deserves a rub chin.......................
"fiddles around with his soft toys" means he has a fluffy, cute small soft toy, those girls will collect type of toys, eg. winnie the pooh, mickey mouse.
Not sure is the way I phrase my sentence or the mindset of the readers too sensitive?
buy him naruto figurines la.... then ask naruto to give him a rasen shuriken followed by sasuke to give him a sharingan amaterasu... and lastly ask pain to give him a shinra tensei... then he can go play with his soft toys...

Since he is a figurine collector, it will be better for you to get him some figurines instead of soft toys. Giving him a soft toy might give him the wrong idea instead.
The first thing to do is to find out what kind of figurines he like and/or which anime(s) is he fond of. The most popular animes/mangas among guys nowadays are One Piece, Bleach and Naruto, so you can take notice if he talks frequently about any of these 3 or not. On the otherhand, if he is one of those collectors who likes any figurines of cute girls without special preferences, then you can find some nice ones for him at your neighbourhood Comics Connection.
Well, there is always the last alternative, and that is to buy some chocolates or a cake for him...
buy 2 pairs of boxing gloves so both of you can punch each other in the face
one month plus guy friend....gather a few friends to buy a present together...
Don't know bout others but i would not buy for a girl who i only know for a month a personal gift unless i wanna get to know her 'closer'
With a few friends, you all can buy a nice pen or something like that, alng with a nice card.
are u a guy or a girl ?
small figuirine will do i think. soft toy might give him the wrong idea?
His age, your budget?
imo, no need to buy, bring him go eat some buffet ok liao lah..
unless...you got a liking for him or you purely wanted to celebrate his birthday for him or gv gv him a small present as a gift.

Just share present with others, unless he got no real or fake friends who want to celebrate his birthday for him.
Buy something that he likes and can satisfies his needs. Hmmm he likes figurines... then buy a BLOW UP DOLL!
Aw..c'mon guys, dont be so mean. I'll bet the threadstarter is only a young teen or even perhaps under 12. Let's not deprive them of their innocent childhood.![]()
Hey TS. It's the thought that counts, and for you to even think to give him a gift for his birthday although you are only ordinary friends give us adults all hope in the new generation comming up. We adults hardly bother to even remember each other's birthday, let alone buy gifts..hehe... Thumbs up for you, young adult!
Buy him what he likes. I think figurines would be better. A soft toy would be more personal and an idea of a relationship, as it would be hugged when he sleeps, and when he hugs it, he will think of the person who had bought him the gift.
TS only know the boy for less than 2 months, how many would genuinely buy birthday gift or even know what to buy?
If you don't really know the birthday person well, then it's already excusable for you not to celebrate for him.
Unless you're interested in him, then you shouldn't have any problems regarding the gift to purchase.
Then again, TS is behaving like a guy fretting over what to get for his girl?
Tell me if I'm wrong, or tell me why do you think it's normal for a girl to behave like you?
Should I set this fraud upon on fire?
a hot sex
ZZ... Gunner..
Depend if you are interested in him, the more valuable gift you would buy him.
I suggest you buy him book about figurines.
I would say give him cash, he can buy w/e he wants with it.
U IN AGONY IN ANY WAY ANOT??? -.-''
wtf is this?!
