some thoughts

when a couple is together for some yrs, the feelings will lessen together with time. as they are together for so long, they understand the characteristics of each other and instead of trying to solve the problems they face, they tends to pinpoint each other mistakes. then one party will be willing to give up the relationship cos he does not feel anything for the relationship anymore and decides to find someone new cos he believes that perhaps he can find a better partner or someone with similiar characteristics. i understand tt when having someone new means there are more sparks btw them and it is always sweet and fun to be in the honeymoon period. but isn't it boring to start all over again with someone new and going through the same stages again? would there really have 2 persons in this world tt really have similar characteristics? its all abt give n take to accept each other. to leave someone and to be in love with another girl, i rather try to relight the old relationship, bringing new sparks in the old relationship and continue from where we stop. through so many troubles and problems, to be together with the one u loved before will be the ever sweetest thing,

That scenario is a common scenario, but not everyone will go through that common scenario. It takes two to clap; it wouldn't work if the other party don't feel the same way as you. If they do, probably they would be married by now don't they?

I would choose to be single......if at all, possible. -
same here. I think the point is to really find ways to do things together.. new things or old ones that haven been done for a long time... i feel that it all boils down 2 whether both parties WANT 2 make it work....
if one party is doing all e 'rekindling e spark' in e r/s while e other juz sits there...
clearly it aint gona work...
however its better 2 let go than cling 2 something that is no longer meant 2 b yours.... -

From wat I deduce, guess, tink, etc, etc: Its more of commitment then juz love... Y couples break r coz they have only "LOVE" in it n dats it... they wouldn't tink of commiting themselves to each other for da WHOLE LIFE?!
Ask yrself: do U wanna be wif yr love for da rest of yr life, noeing each other's good n bad points, da habits, lifestyle, etc, etc... Try living wif yr love for a couple of mths (omit da intimate stuffs...) and then tink abt it...
