That scenario is a common scenario, but not everyone will go through that common scenario. There is fair share number of other common love experience like bf/gf dump you for another person, etc.Originally posted by ahjiang:when a couple is together for some yrs, the feelings will lessen together with time. as they are together for so long, they understand the characteristics of each other and instead of trying to solve the problems they face, they tends to pinpoint each other mistakes. then one party will be willing to give up the relationship cos he does not feel anything for the relationship anymore and decides to find someone new cos he believes that perhaps he can find a better partner or someone with similiar characteristics. i understand tt when having someone new means there are more sparks btw them and it is always sweet and fun to be in the honeymoon period. but isn't it boring to start all over again with someone new and going through the same stages again? would there really have 2 persons in this world tt really have similar characteristics? its all abt give n take to accept each other. to leave someone and to be in love with another girl, i rather try to relight the old relationship, bringing new sparks in the old relationship and continue from where we stop. through so many troubles and problems, to be together with the one u loved before will be the ever sweetest thing,
What's that...? Care to share with us...?Originally posted by sgboy2004:

same here. I think the point is to really find ways to do things together.. new things or old ones that haven been done for a long time... Try not to let a relationship become too monotonous or else it wont be the passion that is keeping the relationship together but a state of used-to-each-other that is keeping things from falling apart.. that is the graveyard to a relationship.. not marriage as they always say.Originally posted by Qoo`~`:im that kind of person that's tired to go through the same stages again. so i rather stick with my current bf then to go and find another new sparck.....
Hmm... People usually go for the things they don't have and long for... That's how they're constantly 'in action'...?Originally posted by M©+square:I wondering if it's really that important to get attached?
I would choose to be single......if at all, possible.![]()

Ha...i like your post.Originally posted by loneryu00:Those who r attached would wanna be single. Those single would wanna be attached... Its da curiousity of wanting to try some other things when U have or r in it...
As for da topic, can ask yr parents... Wat kept them together so long? Since they basically knew each other inside out n they r MORE experienced...
From wat I deduce, guess, tink, etc, etc: Its more of commitment then juz love... Y couples break r coz they have only "LOVE" in it n dats it... they wouldn't tink of commiting themselves to each other for da WHOLE LIFE?!
Ask yrself: do U wanna be wif yr love for da rest of yr life, noeing each other's good n bad points, da habits, lifestyle, etc, etc... Try living wif yr love for a couple of mths (omit da intimate stuffs...) and then tink abt it...
R U prepared for it?
