when i was a kid, i always ponder why we need to take O lvls etc, since many of the subjects taught were non-relevant to working life (e.g: if you aspire to be accountant, then learning literature and technical design = waste of time)
40-50s guys form the largest % of suicides...and yes TS..i do feel dwn too..guess i was sent back to depression again..but your young life still goes on..many chance to make it worthwhile..

go seek help on depression. many people have depression without knowing it, especially in a stress up society like singapore.

I was like wondering how you guys managed to conquer those feelings while really making your life plentiful enjoyable.O levels are reaching, but basically I had learnt nothing about the subjects. A simple question and yet I cant answer. I failed with no dignity. Oh yah does anyone always get a negative impact from your friends?

it's a state of mind. when it happens, it's like fog clouding your whole mind. sometimes it clears a bit and you feel slightly hopeful. it may take time for the fog to clear while u figure things out. it takes time to find your way to a clearing.. it may also clear suddenly with a light-bulb moment, usually comes with a paradigm shift.
i had a light-bulb moment this morning when i woke up. the words i posted above came to me.
don't focus so much on the sad things. make better friends with positive outlook. change lifestyle. do something different.

it depends where u derive yr happiness and enjoyment from. differs for every individual. from company of family / frens? from ambition / achievements? from helping others out? (altruism)
from what u said.. yr frens will most probably not follow u thru in yr poly/jc years..
focus on yr 'O's now as it affects yr future alot. even if u feel life is meaningless (happens to everyone sometimes) u still have to take a step forward.

Perhaps you will want to get a tutor or two to help you out with your subjects.
Different people having different learning speed and level, so do not let your friends' results demoralise you.

O level is so easy. If one cannot get its As, why waste earth's resources?Why do people need tuition teachers now? The school teacher never do their job properly?
TS what have you been doing since sec3, now you start to panic, prehaps still got some hope.
Geography, history is by pure memorizing. Focus on remember the Key words
English <--- Need constant practice , but most BTC can pass english
Math and A math is by pure logic, some people can do it some just can't cannot be help
Chemistry is difficult, just memorize use, some imagination, shall can pass one
Physic, try to relay to real life
Bio <-- Easy everything can be seen
Sometimes practising answering questions is also a way of studying .
If you have been abandoning your teachers, start to realise they exists. Complaint to MOE if they dont want to help.

Hais hais hais! I really find myself damm useless. Right now still need to quickly chiong for exams. Keep burning midnight oil, burn until have panda eyes already. Somemore I cannot even protect the my crush. People keep talking about her such as her body or what hot here and there. People keep talking about her name and whatever. I fucking want my friend to stop all those sia. Cb I really feel damm useless at all sia.

As you have said, she is your crush, not your other half.
There is nothing much you can do unless you go after her.
It will be wiser to focus on your studies now though, so try not to think too much of her.

no offense, but how old are u now? since u're a trainee teacher, i assume you're around 22 - 26?
i also assume u'll be posted to a primary / sec school after completing your course at NIE? what subjects u intend to specialize in?
