Will you let the relationship develop and enjoy the 1 year?
Or you are less sentimental type and would not further develop the relationship since you think the more you two progress, the more painful it would feel in the days and months right after she leaves for good...
ah... TS... if u scared or worried too painful then u dun develop... So U intending to stay like this relationship forever? not intending to get married or something? Some things change over time, it wont stay the same forever...
ps: pardon my insensitive comments... I only notice ur title once i posted... I'm not deleting my comment so u can use it for future reference...
depends on what u're after. if u are the serious long term relationship seeking type, then don't do it. u'll be inviting heartbreak for urself, 1 year down the road.
if u can be light hearted about this, then go ahead with it.
imho, life is long, even if nothing happens right now before she leaves, some day, some where in the future, there's always the chance u might meet again under different circumstances... when that happens, who knows? :)
don't be so extreme lah, it's not a do or die dilemma.
The moment one's love becomes attachment, love inexorably gravitates towards a relationship... then love starts demanding, it is a prison. It has destroyed the freedom; one cannot fly in the sky, one is encaged. Love is an existential n subjective experience. To make it into an object or objectify it - bondage and misery!
