it'll pass... i can only tell myself.
go do some outdoor extreme activities like rock climbing, ski etc..
and also, change your current mindset.
why outdoor extreme activities ?
i did rock climbing before. believe it or not, i got toe dislocation. muahahahaha
What one resists persists, what one accepts frees. Otherwise, one is merely suppressing or at most one pursues 'sth' else to distract oneself or suppress it. It's relegated to one's 'memory' bank or if will, the subconscious - it will sooner or later erupt like a volcano!
The 'problem' or it becomes one when one intreprets the 'clouds' for the sky. One can never be rid of the 'clouds' or control(emotions). The emotion is the 'movie' and the screen is the real thing.
The anguish/pain is not from the circumstance/event/situation but cos of the identification with the particular emotion and 'fighting' or suppressing it. The emotion is the 'movie' (it passes n ends) and the 'screen' is the real thing. Just watching the emotions and being aware that it is there - will eventually transform one.
However, when one acknowledges, understands n accepts one comes to know that all emotions are akin to the 'passing clouds' and behind the clouds is the real me (the clear sky, screen) one can n one is bound to handle oneself differently.
One only has to have the virtue of patience!
