baby giggling for no reason

i have a fren who has this prob where his infant does that @ night, my fren strongly suspect that those "things" ., which cannot be seen with our eyes but can be seen by babies are in his home. It could be those things playing with him.

and place it near where your baby will be...but of reach of the baby la of course... -
maybe the baby day time having too much fun already
at night having happy dream leh.

This is quite common.The practice is pray at the venue or . ..... dats what i heard people doing

common belief is that it is dead relatives doting on the new born, esp the grand parents
before resorting to talisman/idols, the next time it happen, just advise/remind that while it is common for relatives to dote on new borns, what they are doing may cause harm. hopefully, this would solve the problem

i'm no baby counselour, but babies are more sensitive towards touches, that may explain his excessive giggling

Baby is being a baby lar, strangely, the adults around them are looking for reason(s) - frankly, the baby is simply delighting in what is. SAd!!!

I've also heard, that for some it's the baby's older siblings that comes back .... abortion, miscarriage etc ......

that is very very common. i saw my mother pray to the bed god. And recently my god brother has his first's baby , he also did the same prayer to bed god to protect baby from evil spirits. You can try that.
Do make the baby a small rice/ beans pillow Err.. size is like 15cm x15cmx 5cm thick.. you can place the little pillow over his tummy area. Not sure why.. baby with that pillow won't talk to air at night.

maybe we should put aside superstitious beliefs and consider the baby needs to have a familiar presence around them at all times,
this reminds me of the baby giggling scene in Ghostbusters

A healthy adult would simply allow the baby and not wonder why the baby is like this or like that?
Sad lar, the neurosis of the adults are percolating to him/her. Imagine, after the formative years, i cannot imagine!!!!
