How do you recover from this?
Two old aunties rushed down to AVA after they found out that their cats were caught. A mother and her baby.
The officer brought the cats out but said he could only release one. The aunties had to choose.
The cats jumped for joy at seeing these familiar loving faces, not understanding the anguish and the tears.
They chose the mother. Because they had seen her as a baby, as a young playful adult and then an unwitting, unsavvy young mother. Then they witnessed the baby frantic, hysterical in the cage as she was carried back into the unspeakable backrooms.
How does anyone make such a decision? How do you expect them to recover from it? This happened some time ago but the aunties will never ever forget this.
As Ghandi had said that "the greatness and moral progress of a nation can be judged from the way its animals are treated"

i wonder too.
animals are fine, but i cannot stand strays. i think they're disgusting potential disease-carriers. there are certain areas where you can spot more than 5 cats (or 20 pigeons) within a 10 metre radius. IMHO, the congregation is extremely unsightly and it usually occurs cos there's food around.
but strays are also life and they dont deserve to receive such treatment,

u are hypocrite. they need to eat too. its is same as humans who gather in a hawker centre during lunchtime
Eh pls ler, yes stray got their life but not all having the same fate right?
Some are lucky while some just need abit more luck.
Same as human, dun tell me u are having the same fate as Mr. Lee.
The most we can do let nature take its course.. Just dun go abuse them.
will u treat humans in this way? Strays are treated like how people were treated in Nazi Concentration camps during the third Reich.
