That day my mom is just complaint to me that I am freaky useless, two of my distant cousins (they are brothers) are drug addicts, been to DRC, now in their twenties, and they just married with their GF, who is a degree holder!!! May be girls in Singapore like bad boys... sianz.
Hmm...ya...maybe you can consider looking for experienced psychologist / psychiatrist who deal with drug cases.
Look at the hospitals.....and find the phone number for psychiatrist....I believe they will help you.

Anyway my suggestion to TS is to seek advice from professionals who know the in and out of the penal and drug treatment system in Singapore.
My uncle who has holiday inside before for some other crap he took

Ah yoh! Drugs addicts are dammed weak. When caught, the CNB officer have to carry them back to the police station. Where to find the strength to beat up their wife?
The thing about drug addicts are that, people have been despised and treat them badly for a long time, and when some1 are nice to them, they really appreciate the comfort that they are given. Hence in turn, they will be nicer.
issit ? i thought they will just try to scam , cheat, steal to sustain thier drug habits.lol..
the marriage is all a con.. to sustain thier addiction.
lol

I can't speak specifically about your uncle's experience. From my own experience working with the prison department in Singapore, I know the prison officers talk to the inmates under their charge every now and then to see if they're coping alright or whether there is any complaint. Simply 'talking' is not counselling. The inmates also get to attend religious classes on weekends if they choose to. Again these are not specialized drug treatment.

I will have to disagree with you. Religion can help to change a person, in many ways more than one. I say this as an ex-convict, though not a drug-related one. This may not be a form of specialised treatment, but it is not something to be underestimated as well.
Amen.

I concur with you that religion can change a person. Even the 12-step program is based on Christian philosophy. My point is that DRCs do not offer any specialized drug treatment until the final 6 months of their detention. If one is looking for religious help or support or whatever you call it, there is no need to go to prison or DRC. Everyone is more than welcome to step into a church, temple, mosque, or synagouge to seek religious advice and help.

But when you are high on drugs you do not know what you are doing and when your wife try to stop you from taking it you could end up beating her. Its the same as alcoholic addicts who after getting drunk they may get violent
In some instances, you do not have money to buy drugs and you ask for money from your wife who refuse to give you than you end up beating her
Report him, is for the better...

Depends on what drug that is taken and also the dosage.
For, Heroin, it shuts down the nervous system, so the person becomes paralyzed after taking it.
Before taking the drug, the person is alert, fit and can attack another person.
After taking the drug. the person become helpless.
Different from alcoholic addicts can still attack when sober.
Irregardless, these people does not exercise and they are weak.
So is there any way to get help without getting authorities involved?
Thats the main thing.

Can.
The drug addicts must have the will to change.
I have posted the dose reduction method earlier on.
