hi guys...since the older thread was lock..i was tihnking to re-create anither thread...

Since the last thread (almost a year has gone by)..i have been giving it another try on the IT technical industry...
It seems that my situation and thinking still the same...hahhahaa
but one thing positive is i try not to give up n suck in more of the preassure..
but inevtiably by doing so and also thru luck/gods grace :(... so far i manage by and also very fortunetly have some collegue to give me a hand..i am able to pull thru...
i no longer have the confidance on myself as i find im not right/capable in wht i m doing.....and also.. i am no loneger have great confidence in technilogy espeacially microsoft or any other 2rd party components...full of bugs and etc etc...
haizzz...very mentally tired and also dont know whati should do...
1. change career - dont nkow wht i can do
2, remain in IT but not doing technical - any ideas (pls no teaxhing dontthink i m suited for it..
anyhow..thx in advance and merry xmas n happy new year

Remain where you are, even if you go out you will have to get stuck in IT sector unless you want to be Bus/Taxi Drivers or something which you can pick up the skills along the way.
Since you have supportive colleagues, it is a very good thing already. Most others now are trying to prevent themselves from being backstabbed by their colleagues, as they fight for survival in their jobs.
If you can, take a long leave and rest for now, you sound like you could use a good break.

Since you have no idea about which career you want to switch over to, it will be better for you to remain in the IT sector, since this is your field of expertise.
However, instead of randomly entering another area in IT, you may wish to have a look at the IT positions available from the newspaper as well as the internet, and choose one which actually interests you.
