just wanna know the average % of ppl in sg who hates their father... i easily have 4 frens who hates their father.. for various reasons.. so personally i hate my father to the core.. any1 else?

not only hate fathers lar, but also mothers and siblings as well. its not easy to live and co-exist in one family. every individual has his/her own habits, beliefs etc.
i dont believe in hatred towards family members.

it could be for a day, a week, month, or even years.
but it's when you lie on your deathbed, that you know who really are your kins

Its not that they hated their fathers, but just that they are angry with their fathers.
reasons for hating / angry are plenty - forsake the family when he was an infant/child, beat him up when he was a child, esp when he misbehave or disobedience, insulted him that he was a useless bum, or how I wish to strangle you to death when you were born etc etc.
its easier to love your parents and family when they are all good and nice people.
what about those born in a dyfunctional family like having drunkard and gambler father, abusive and irresponsible father etc.
I use to hate my father to the core for being so useless...
But after that certain day, when something happen to me, I remember his face... And from that moment, I know he loves me and care for me for real.
But still, he is useless and a idiot who dunno how to love and care or even think...
But from that day, I forgive everything because I know he loves me and care for me...
BUT STILL... WHY SO MANY FATHER DUNNO HOW TO LOVE AND CARE AND CONCERN THE CORRECT WAY DE?

Not only that... What about when you work day and night, trying so hard to do well but still kena scolded? Getting scolded when you're not in the wrong? Being SAD also kena scolded!? When it comes to this type of useless ppl I give up already.
People who say that you shouldn't hate your parents etc... I think you just haven't seen what some parents are like... Not everyone's parents are good and nice. There are unreasonable idiots.
To people who have such parents... Their parents are worth nothing more than the stranger on the street. (Often less.) Seriously.
