  my husband went drink driving, told him dont drive but he insisted.  then the car had a minor accident.  we are both fine, but to repair the car will cost $600.  as he does not have much savings, he suggested i pay for it.  i told him no, juz leave the car as it is.  cos i do not want to be 'rescuing' him from facing the music of the stupid mistake.  i want him to see the dent and be reminded so he will learn a lesson.

   

  i dunno, should i help him out?  is it very bad of me not to help him?

  You could have been killed that day. Or some innocent soul could have been sacrificed.

  Don't  ever allow your own safety to be compromised like that again. Take a taxi home on your own, together with the car key.

  $600 to him is just a small price to pay for his act of stupidity.

  wat if he threaten to divorces or beat u if u dont paid for his damage ???

  a man that can drink and drive have a higher chance of getting angry and beat his woman when he is drunk and angry.

  Dont pay for the repair.

  Keep it.

  Tell yr hubby, he has to be fully responsible for it.

  Tell yr hubby, if he can drink, he should be able to pay $600 for the repair.

  Good thing he never crash on some pple causing fatal accident.

  Let him wake up and drink drive is a NO in spore.

  There wont be so lucky in 2nd chance if your hubby drink drive again.

  He might kill himself, that is better, than causing pain to others.

  if 600 cannot pay... then why drink drive? what about the fine if kenna caught? what about the repair fee and fine if involve in accident?

  same as other forumers, i dont understand why can afford car but not $600.

  anw, for your case, i dont think should help him this time round, what you thought of is reasonable.

  dent only mah. as long as car still functional, dent is ok. can serve as reminder somemore.

  if he really want to fix that dent, he will have to pay for his own folly
