Love Problem

i'm in love wif tiz gal but i do not want the gal to know as i think we should remain as friend 1st and that i'm afraid that i might get rejected that make our friendship turn sour. In the begining, i only treat this gal as my friend, a just ordinary gd gal-friend but under the persuasion of my guys friends saying that i and her look very compatible. slowly as time goes by i began to have a soft spot for her, have that kind of feeling! i know i have fallen in love wif her but i just try to avoid and try to make that kind of feeling dies out but the more i avoid, the more i try to die out that feeling, the more i have fallen in love. Now i don't know how to face her whenver i saw her. All my best friends know about this and advise me, but i'm still confuse. Can anyone help me?

A few questions that I need to know, how u could ever hurt me so. I need to know what I've done wrong and how long it's been going on. Was it that I never paid enough attention? or did I not give enough affection. Not only will ur ans keep me sane but I'll know never to make the same mistake again. The way I see it, people are either meant to be together or they are not. If you like her and think that you can live with a rejection, then go and ask her, otherwise, keep it this way as friends.. Why don't you pluck up your courage and express your love to her? Or mayb u can try hinting first to see whether the feeling is mutual?
What I mean is to hint to her indirectly that you are in love with her, say mayb u can pop the question, "did your parents ever ask why u still dun have a bf, aren't they anxious of your "zhong sheng da shi", etc, etc...Think you should know what to do, though I know it's not easy, juz try, no harm mah...

Thanks Prodigal for your advise but the problem now is that before me, there is a guy who proclaim that he like this gal and both of them are my good friend. Previously before I had any feeling for "her", I already know that one of my best friend is persuing her. But all I can say is that if I were to fight with my best friend over a gal, and the three of us are friends. 1 of us is sure to get very hurt and the remaining 2 were not be any better too.So I quite confuse whether I should let nature take its course or be frank and fair to the both of them. In such a situation,if your fren wins the girls heart,you will be hurt and get on with life while if you win the girls' heart instead,your fren will be hurt and get on with life instead?Maybe this girl could be the one for you?Go and give it your best since in this situation,one of you is ineveitably going to get hurt,so you decide whether issit going to be or your fren???heheeh

well ... in this situation ... what i would do is to ask the girl who she likes ... if she says no one, then you have a chance ! if the name of yr good friend pops up, then you know it's time for you to give way... and perhaps you might try to tell her you like her too ... and don't avoid her ... i know the feeling... you're just plain shy ... next time, just go over and say hi. It won't kill you, this i'm sure ... and Good Luck !

To tell u the truth, i m oso in the same shoe as u. No matter wat, u still have 2 tell her how u feel. Otherwise, u will have 2 live in the web of deceits whenever u r wif her, be it in a grp or juz the 2 of u. Forgive me for being cynical but I don't think you love her. How can love spring out of persuasion??? If you ask me, I think it's more of infatuation, not love. Plain feelings do not necessarily mean love. Perhaps you can reconsider your feelings for her? I'm sorry if I'm wrong, because i have never made myself feel so terrible before, so i dunno how you feel...
Love is something that has to be nurtured and includes other elements like commiment.
