I would agree ... i think it would happen for my case ... they don't think we can be boyfriends ... but think we can be good or even friends to them ? Haven't they known that we treat them good because we love them ? And expect them to love us back ? IF they treat us like friends... we can treat them as friends too ... coz it ain't worth it to treat her as a budding lover anymore ...
But me ... i guess i'll still be her special friend deep deep down ...

perhaps that the girl did put in much effort into the relationship too..? perhaps they just feel tired when the relationship doesnt work even after they put in much effort..? since this is the case, they feel that it is better if they end it, and telling the guy that it is better if they remains as friends is perhaps just a nicer way of ending the relationship. i mean.. if u wanna break with ur bf/gf, u cant juz tell him/her that i dont like u, i dont think this relationship will work, so let's juz end this misery.. it's cruel..
A girl wants a bf who's a friend to her.. who's caring, understanding and some1 who listen to any of her problems.. not just one who's good to her just because she's known as his gf. that's so shallow..

since i'm a guy, i will respond from an opinion of a guy....
i would try not to be that close to the gal anymore, but still in contact with her....first i dun wan to get hurt again, secondly i wan her to make up her mind.....i bet that if i would to cool down, she will sense some crisis, then i she really want me, she will do something to keep me comfortable... -
I dun reali agree tat itz onli the gals who alwayz want 2 stay as frens cos guys use the same excuse 2. They juz won't admit tat actuali they hv lost interest in u.
For gals, mayb they felt u hv oredi understand them well so itz a pity 2 lose u al2gether. So they whd stil want 2 keep u as a fren. Mayb tis applies 2 guys 2? -

Tango...yeah..since u here... so you should roughly know wats going on. Anyway more new problems have cropped up, im too tired to put it here. People here seem more willing to help gals than guys.

What i think is..the girl must make up her mind..."Does she want to wait endlessly for a guy who might never again reciprocate her feelings?" or "Does she want to give another relationship a chance?"
If she say yes to the first one...then she is foolish...from what i know..guys who cheated on their girlfriends always cheat on them again! It's really not worth the wait...
If she says yes to the second..then she should put a stop to meeting GUY A ever again..since GUY B is uncomfortable with the idea.Ending the meetings with GUY A will show sincerity to GUY B which i believe will meant a lot to him.
However, like you said..she is still confused abt the whole thing..I suggest letting her have some time to think about it.
It is unfair to both the girl herself and GUY B to plunge into a relationship when she still has not let go of GUY A....
It will only ends up in a relationship whereby both of you ends up getting hurt and scarred again.... -
Maybe I'm one of the exceptional as well... Nope I'm not saying that I'm great or wat.. but I do keep in contact wif my ex. Coz she are my fren... Moreover, I dun see gals as just shallow pple.. Some maybe.. Yes I have to admit with it. BUt so guys are equally shallow as well. It's hard to believe. Anyway, I dunno if I shld say this out, but most of my frens are gals.. hee hee.. just frens... not my ex or gfs.. just frens...
Think there are many kind of guys out there... just that u haben met them in ur life yet

and, thou' it will be painful to let him/her go with another person, if he/she is truly happy this time, i'm sure u too, will feel happy for him/her. =))) coz when u truly love a person, u will only want the person to be happy. well, this may not apply to everyone, but at least, that's my POV. =)) -
It is possible cos I'm a living example. There is a tinge of jealousy at first but then again a r/ship is usually started after an initial stage of good friends. So why not revert to that stage if a r/s cannot work out? It's possible!!! My ex and I are still close frens. We still chat over the fone, still go out together... I admit that it's hard to get over the initial stage of awkwardness. I think even when both of u are frens already it's a happy thing that both of u get another partner. But there will be a tinge of jealousy, or rather envious though, but this kind of feeling is normal and alright. But if it's the other case of one ditching the other becoz of a 3rd party, I think it will result in anger and not just jealousy. This will be bad.
