hi ppl, i would to know is there ppl out there same as me. i am very unlucky this year, as i got in to an accident at work. some thing flew in to my eye and left me partially blind on one eye. Before the accident i have 6/6 vision on both eyes.
alot ppl ask me why nv wear goggles. it was late at 8 pm and my goggles
become blur after sweating. so i took out for a while. no body expects
accidents to happen. i am really damn sad and depressed. i feel my
whole world is gone. it has been three months and i cannot get over it.
Unable to sleep, depressed each time i wake up. i really feel i FU+ked
my whole life. Feel like life is very fragile. i really hate my life
now.i am really sad.
so this thread is to bring all one eye people together.
Thanks and happy to know u all.
Sad to hear that.
Be strong.
And a caution to pple out there, dont take safety for granted even though you are 100% sure it is risk free.
thanks i really like to be strong but this accident entirely change my life. i become paranoid. life is unpredictable. i scare i might not wake up the next day. life really scary.
I start by saying that I am so sorry to hear this.
To keep your spirit up, do consider joining a support group? I suppose within the hospital where you are discharged, there is one?
If you are unsure, is it possible to enquire from the hospital or the occupational therapist about this?
Be strong!
thanks i was in NUH at that time..
Those who take life for granted will have to do a reflection upon reading your story. Thanks Bro!
i hope ppl take ur eyes seriously hope ppl treasure what ever u see in front of u. inculding gf mom dad bro sis. it will nv be the same again

Go for eye specialist and see whether it can bring back the sight or not. Even it is not 6/6 perfection is ok if able to bring the sight back right. Afterall you can wear specs.
And call up nuh and enquiry any support group available and tell them you fright after eye injury.
Good luck bro!
Dont give up....you will be ok.
thank u bro appreciated. the say it's the optic nerve problem. hard impact. can recover how much means how much already. thanks
