How do you know whether an opposite sex is really interested in you when they pop the "go steady" question to you?
And you only get to know them for maybe a day or 2.
Will you accept them? -

but i think the both of you really need more time to get to know each other better...
a relationship cannot be based on mutual attraction alone...there are other factors...
such as character click, maturity level, topics of discussion...etc...

eh well....basically......(pardon me if i'm goin to say nething to offend u..)so wat if the guy(s) are intro-ed to u via a fren? it's not as if ur fren actually used her ren ge to dan bao tt the guys are "good" guys lo........plus, comeon la....u onli noe "them" for like 2 days or mebbe a lil more.......okok, i ain't gonna reprimand u or wat lo...not gonna preach, but basically, toking to u as a guo lai ren.......(yes yes, i went stead with pple from irc b4, so wat? look down on me....go ahead, i dare u.....)
anywayz, my first 3 (inclusive of the one tt was really short n stuff)....... were guys from sorta irc la......n guess wat, all din last past 2 months........shortest was less den a wk.......tt one dun say la....to cut long story short, i just felt tt i dun really noe them as well as i thought i did lo...n tt was like after i noe them for more than half a yr horz......not just a wk or 2 days even lo.......well, din work out in the end lo........
u could say tt wo bu xiang xin yi jian zhong qing, ke shi, in this case, more like if u go "stead" with "them", den it'd more of coz u are yearning for someone to "love" u lo...as in like u were waiting for someone to pop da qn, and it just so happens tt at this point of time, some guy came n ask u the question, and u sorta became infatuated with him..........

U only get into a relationship when u are sure u are ready for it. If not, going into one with a try-try mentality normally ends up with disastrous results.

Yup! I agree with Larry. People are getting more practical nowsaday. Can't get A, then get B instead kinda of attitude.
But at the same time, if you get to know someone for quite sometime aready, maybe a year or so, how can you tell whether the person is interested in you?
Maybe thru words or actions said or shown by that person?
