How to forget someone who u realli love?

Get a new direction in life? I mean, find a worthy cause that can transcend death to live for.
There are lots and lots of examples around. Eg u can choose to live for ur country, ur people, ur family, ur friends, etc etc. -
u cant really make urself forget...the more u force urself to forget the more u will remeber...
time will really heal...concertrate on other stuff for the time being ... later on u wil realize that u have already gotton over him...

If its someone u love, there's no way u can forget someone coz he/she have engraved such wonderful memories in your life. What u can do is just try to convince yourself that u two are not longer together and u must face reality and get on with your life. When u have accepted this fact.. u have "forgotten" him/her

the next question is how?
some ppl move on without looking back at the past.
some ppl are hunted by memories.
Is it in the blood or is it just purely who we are?
Differenent percept or view in life?
Or is it the different perception and method used? -
If you really think that you love this person or you really do love this person, it is also close to impossible to forget this person.. This person might fade away in ur memories after many years have passed but he'll still remain there somewhere deep down in your heart.. One day, something you do might juz suddenly wake him up from inside you and you know you really hasn't forgotten.. Without memories, what else is there in life if you really can't have him.. At least with the memories, you can still smile when you think of him.. Something tt might hurt a bit but then it will stir happie thoughts in you.. It's impossible together to be wif him now and future you know, but then as long as he's happie, u should be happie too.. Y will you wanna forget someone you love?? Time can ease the pain of him not being able to be there for you, time may make you forget him.. But if you really do love him, will things really be better when you forget?

getting over it doesn't really mean forgetting him.. it only means learning to live a life without him.. in your mind he still lingers somewhere.. subconciously, u're still hoping tt there'll be a day when he'll be back by your side thou it's impossible.. once in a while he still pops up in your dreams to say hi..
btw, tis person whom i can't get over i've known him my whole life and liked him half of it.. I still love him now but my love is wanting him to be happie.. I had been learning to live a life without him and it wasn't easy.. But no one noes what is waiting for you further down the road in life... -
two ways...
first is the hard one.... which is "try" to forget.... and it takes a hell lot of time....
second one is to get a big blow.... not those he don't love you or wat thing but something like a horrible lie or his/her stead do what thing to you or betray you which can give a very deep impact into you... thus making you taking back all the love you first gave...
the second one works pretty well for me... -

Hi spear, I am going through the same state that you are in.
Like many others have said, you can't forget, you have to live with it and learn from the relationship.
It is just like a scar when you have wounded, with the one that you love, that scar will always be there.
Remember, life is more than just her. Same fate I am in, I am still trying to forget but I guess the only way is to keep yourself busy. Go out and socialize. Take this time to do the things that you have always wanted to do but never have the time for it. Now is the time.
Take a step at a time, don't leave those things that bring memories lying around, try to keep them one at a time. Get a fresh start and concentrate on your career or studies. Stay focus on that.
If neither of those work, there are always counsellors to talk to. It may be good to talk it out to them or your close friends. They may be able to help you to a certain extent, but to move on, its all in your hands.

you can never forget someone who has made such a big impact on your life. i too can never forget that special someone. even more so when she hurt me countless times and i just forgave and forget. she is the one i love the most but hurts me the most. thru her words and actions i've learned to be more tolerant. maybe if she showed more attention and concern to me it might not happen. now she's distancing herself from me. i really L L but to follow her wishes. somewhere down inside me i am feeling very aggravated and betrayed by her actions. but yet i still feel something for her.
you just have to get thru it on your own. things are always like this the recieveing end always gets the most impact of the blow. i don't know if this helps as i really need help on my own. try to think of things objectively and just do it. hopefully it will help numb yur pain. -

It's really hard to forget someone who has and still stand a special place in your heart.I dunno the reason why you wanna forget that special someone but i just wanna say that..why wanna forget..no matter what happen to both of u..memories are the only thing left rite?Why not cherish wad u haf now and let wadever bygones be bygones..
Dun dwell in the past..try to move on..

perhaps try to do more sports or whatever that can get u out of it?
