This is a doubt which my friend is now stressing with..
she know a thai gal from one of his best friend's gf. The thai gal is his best friend's gf's best friend's sister. They come to know each other in an occasion in singapore. The thai gal is a qualified doctor in thai.. so this doctor, she come to like my best friend.. and my best friend also like her as much... This doctor invited my best friends to her sister's wedding. Amd she claim that she wan to introduce him to her parent in thai. Both of them are communicating over the net and on the phone on weekday and weekends respectively.. My friend is 27 years old *dragon* and the doctor is 23 years old *monkey*
The key point is, they can only meet 2 time a year.. (june and December) coz both are busy in their works and study...
my question is,
Will this relationship last?
Shd they really can to be together??
Should my friend go for it?
put yourself in his shoes. are u willing to date with a gal who is not local???

My advice is to wait until she finish study and see what happen. I believe if the both of them is meant for each other - they will be together regardless of situation. Don't attempt LDR (Long-distance relationship) first - because its difficult to maintain. Continuing being as friend and see how this friendship blossom. Well, if in the end this Long distance friendship could blossom and no strong external factor slips in - a relationship that is born through years of slow-fire brewing will have very good foundation for relation.
If your friend is afraid that someone might 'steal' her away, during this period of time - tell him this: If it is fated that she will be taken away - even if you are in LDR, in which is very likely to, - she will also go with that person. At that time - isn't it worst?
Expand social circle and keep live exciting and positive. Over the time, after she finish her studies, if possible hint to her to work in Sg, then probably this is where he can begin his real chase.

Whether the relationship really would work out or not depends on themselves...?
