to your question, how? if he's not going to accept you as you are, will you pretend to be something else? how long will that charade last? it's a lie, you know, the charade... will you be happy being something you are not?
what most nice guys need is for the girl to love them... once in a while, let them mope around, have their fire-gazing time, let them have a beer or three with their own friends without being accountable for each action they take.. and understand that we are only human... we make mistakes..
ultimately, if your guy loves you, he'll give his right arm, leg and eye to make you happy.. don't take advantage of him.. he'll know.. be hurt and still accept it like a man.. after a while, he'll crack as resentment will take its toll...

Sometimes, we don't realli noe what a gal is thinking..
But i always tell myself even though i have lost someone i loved, but the other party has lost someone who loved him/her.
