choosing between temp and perm

Just graduate from poly..tmr got 2 interview..
the 12pm interivew is a temp job for 7 months..pay me $6 per hour..near my house..@ tuas..got free tpt to and fro..
the 4pm itnerview is a permanent job..not that near my house @ clementi..den paying me $1.1k to $1.4k..more or less cfm coz i am the only candidate according to the job agency and i can start work anytime...the manager or wad just wan to have an itnerview with me first..before cfming me...
den now got 1 dilemma...coz i haben decide whether to go for full time or part time uni..and i am okie with both...i was thinking...if i can find a goot job with prospect..den i will study part time uni...if i find a temp job..i will go for full time uni after 1 or 2 years of working...
now the thing is the temp job's interview is before the perm job..if the temp job accept me..can i say i consider first..coz i have another interview later?...and i think if i say this..and if the perm job dun wan me...den the temp's company will have a very bad impression of me liao....
den worse thing..i think my job agency that agent will be really piss loh.. -

i intend to go for both interview..but i duno how to tell the interviewer that i have to consider first before accepting the job..
do i just tell her that i am having an interview later.? and i have to consider first before commiting?..and if i do..u think the job agency peple will scold me? -

Viewing by the current situation, getting a job in hand is certainly much more practical than further studies for now... After you go for your university studies, you'll still face the challenge of finding a job....?
In general, it'll be easier to do a degree when you're a full-time student... But you'll face the problem of being financially independent usually... Is your permenant job on a contract basis...? If it's not I think it's certainly quite a good offer...? Considering both pay offers... The permenant job definitely sounds much more attractive....? 
You'll probably enjoy more benefits too..? But as a start off mentality, you might be clearing off some people's SHI[/i]T if you're unlucky...? Nonetheless, shouldn't let this bother you much as this is just an empty assumption for anything can really be in store you what...? Be it good or bad...?

You DON'T have to tell them that you're having an interview later... Just tell them that you'll need one day to think over the offer and would call them back tomorrow... Besides, temp jobs usually won't be bothered much about these.... It's not like they're having you for permenant...?

choose perm 1 better...temp 1 no security...anytime can ask u leave in 1 day...perm1 the most u wana quit, give 1 mth notice...and aso more benefits...like leave MC CPF etc.in tis way....tat temp 1 ....an hr 6$ is v little compared to temp1....1.1k...nw economy nt so easy find job...if gt perm1 stay there...lor...learn skills and work experience..is a great help for u to go university...cos some local 1...need yrs experience...temp is nt counted....1.....no gd............work perm better.....
u so honest ahh wana tell them u gt 2 interview ahh..hahaha dn lar....u dn have to tell them ...jus say "I need time to consider" sure they give u at least 3 days... if they in need of u , they will wait1....
anyway aso dn quickly accept a job ...sometimes...is a rubbish job....u can go interview today..then they offer u liao ...tats a bit suspicous...cos normaly perm job they have few days consideration and tell u the result after tat or have 2nd or 3rd interview....wait u go work, they throw everytin to u .....mayb they oni need 0 level then they expect more frm u..........these are some incidents frm my frens...cos they gan cheong,...anyhw accept jobs witout tinkin...in the end...work OT etc...bt no pay ....cos nv see contract properly...YA mus see contract and ask q ....if u r nt sure.............tis 1 v important....eg.. like mus work sat or sun..or shift or watever lor...
during interview peformance is v impt....try ur best lor...heee... -

imagine 4 those who dun earn much and needs da $$$ 2 support da family how r they gonna make ends meet?????
personally i think it CPF contribution shld b on a voluntary basis -
should work perm. unless really no choice. now temp/contract job no sercurity any time can get retrenched.

if can, dn choose contract based...choose perm better ..it will reflect better in ur resume nex time for ur future employer...if u work temp...is nt realy considered work experiece...of cos a perm job looks better on ur resume...

Firms that hire temps know the score... most temps are there either to past time, or are looking for other permanent jobs, so there's nothing wrong in telling them you will consider their offer then go for the permanent job interview.
If you land the permanent job and you decide to take up their offer, just call up the temp job place and tell them you cannot accept their offer. They'll understand.

If you really duno how to reject, then dont reject lah. Accept the temp one first, when ask when can start work, you just say next Monday. Then go for the other interview. Actually i have another way, but don't want to teach you how to 'cheat'. -
if temp d job offer better job scope, prospect and environment y not...y may resign n left very soon if not wat u expect or environment bad, isnt it look worst in ur resume.
nothing wrong wif temp or contract, i hv been in it b4...they do offer benefits like leave. employment act state if temp (hr, daily rated etc) more than 3 mths got leave, not sure is it a recommendation or compulsory. u can check wif ministry of manpower. even if u temp, cpf is still compulsory
since u r temping for 7 mths, can try bargain wif d company for benefits. my previous temp job got leave
