How to chat up with a long lost friend?

  Hey guys, gals need some advice.. Well I been keen to meet up this long lost friend of mine.. well hoping to chat up with her chk out how life with her.. but rite now i only have her address.. not sure whether she still staying there.. but if i wanna write to her wat should i say? dun tell me to get a life, i do but juz wanna meet up tat's all..

  and come to think of it.. i duno when was the last time i wrote more than 100 words using pen and paper oni. my handwriting mus be damn ugly by now...
  
  oh btw.. when i write letters (IF i write letters) i always believe in writing myself and not typing and printing them out.

  heh thanks guys and gals for ur adivce.. alrite man i will write a letter and send a greeting card to her.. and leave my contact number with her.. well actually got the number but not sure it hers or not did sms her but no reply yet lor...so tinking of letter to her.. heh
