  well, tonight i'm going to my cousin's wedding dinner....
  
  not too long after the heartbreak of going separate ways with my fiancee..
  
  not too sure how i'd hold up tonight.... yet i said yes when invited.
  
  am i asking for it? going to something i wanted to do so much with someone i love?
  
  maybe tonight if i come back earlier, i'll talk about it..

  i guess if theres something u shud do after a heartache, its to try to live ur live as normal.

  hope that you'd be stronger, many things in life r unpredictable.
  I do not know wat had happened but can sense how much this woman means to you from many of the posts you've posted.
  Go for your happiness if situation can still be salvaged.

  Went on separate ways? Looking it at the point of human's needs and rational/logic thinking - its a tragic when you lost something you hold dearly. But then again - love is about making mutual decision and the about the *feelings*. When its time to graduate from your present relationship - sticking to it will only lengthen the same outcome.
  
  May not know why it has come to such an end - but I suppose everything has a reason for its happening. You will be fine - be strong and hold on to yourself.

  back.. very happy for my cousin they've been together for almost 11 years! about time he made an honest woman of her
  
  strange thing was that i was not thinking of myself at the banquet... was thinking of lots of other things... as i helped my 90 year old granny to the table, i thought of how much i loved my granny she's pretty weak and has slight dementia but she still has that sweet granny smile as she knew one of her grandchildren is getting married to the woman he loves
  
  then a very close aunt of mine commandeered me to help her after my granny and mom were helped to the seats... mom and my aunt has drop-foot syndrome, a mild form of muscular degenerative disease but only the legs get affected... and causes weakness in the legs.. but i digress...
  
  seems that another one of my cousins is going through the same thing as i am in New York... he and his fiancee has also been going through a rough patch and have decided to halt everything...
  
  oh well, my aunt did wish me well with my ex.. hoping that we would be together and we'd patch things up as she liked my ex a lot
  
  so, i left with a bunch of feelings... good ones, a little sad for my cousin, hope and a feeling that hopefuly, all could be well with me, a prayer that my cousin in NY would be well, and most of all, a very warm joy for my cousin as he's starting his life with his new bride...
  
  i'll be well... hopefully i'll be better in days to come...

  i think it's all in the frame of mind. sometimes we just choose to focus on the lousy thoughts, and forget all the beauty around us. and at a wedding, there's beauty everywhere!! of course u could choose to think depressing thoughts, but then it's just uncalled for.
  
  also, i believe sometimes when pple talk about ur ex (like ur grandma) at such occasions, u'd feel their concern and love for u more than the depression of the failed reln, even tho they are talking about it. we should try not to focus too much on wat's lost (the reln), but on wat we still have (love from our family and friends). trust me, i had to CONSTANTLY remind myself when i was nursing a broken heart. thanx to my frens and parents i am ok today.
