If you really like someone, buying the hamster thinggy wld b a show of affection but you were not. You were measuring the your chance of winning H's attention by suprising her with the hamster, which was TOTALLY wrong, unless you found it perfectly alrite, I'd have nth to say. Nobody did trick you into buying ath, you did it for yourself. She told you wat was true. Be a man and accept the fact, not on the financial side *shake head* but that she turned out to be 'gonna-be-attached' and nobody tricked you into buying for her the hamster thinggy that it din pay off.
Like in 'Bruce Almighty', Bruce was not able to make someone loved him back. Accept that and move on. If you do like/love a person, free the person to search for the happiness she wants. Likewise, no one will hesitate to come closer to you if you are the happiness she has been looking for
