Hard to tell... if the girl is like me..
Since sometimes I do not wanna cause the guy embarrassment,
I would act as if i am interested and even ask him qns & etc..
And usually the guy doesnt know that im just pretending ..

I rather give the guy some 'face' ... and try to pay attention to the conversation...
Like once, I saw a male fren on the MRT, I was really tired and didn't feel like talking to anyone, but i gave him face, since he came over to say hi... I listened to him talk... tho' I wasn't interested at all... But I think it was better that way, then to reject him.. -
i agree it's hard to tell.. u'll know it naturally once she's ready to accept you.. unless she give u outright signs.. u just have to be more observant and sensitive to her

it's more of courtesy i guessed when it comes to conversation. actually if a gal like someone, she will try to so-call perstering u. Or will accept ur dates, chat with u etc.
In ur case, i can say the gal might nt have interest in you but why nt give it a try, ask her directly since u r a guy. u sld nt feel any embrassed mah...

N it's easier said than done...esp. when u dun really know the guy well, u cant expect to tell him "geez, im really tired, maybe u cld leave me alone for awhile" ... Im just trying to be nice... even tho' im not interested at least I make an effort to look like i am.. -
