Failed relationship

I broke off with my bf of 3+yr...the reasons he told me is i too possesive..
i noe i abit possesive but wat causes all this?
he is too gentleman to all gers around him..
he went all out to help them..
1) when she need some wiring for her project she called him and he drive down just to send her wire..
2) a ger need help for making some car model kit for her bf...he went to her house and help her make and lie to me he outside with frenx..(even when i noe and her house no one in, my bf still lie to me her family member at home)
3) ger call him or msg him he told me its his relative or other frenx.. or when the caller ask him who he with he told them frenx...am i his gf ??
4) he like to know new gers thru pub or frenx...
5) he went lunch with ger...he nv tell me but lie to me...
actually wat has cause us to break is that we got no trust in each other....i cant totally blame him b/c i got fault too..like wat he told me....i nv trusted him thats why we called off the relationship...
we now can talk more then when we are couple..
think thats wat ppl called..be frenx is better then be lover...
to me now...trust is very impt. and nv lie to ur partner...tell her/him the truth...its better then right at the beginning you lie and you had to carry on with ur white lie....
wish all couple out there all the best in their relationship... -

in not trusting him, he lied to try to keep the peace
and in lying, he caused you to not trust him..

habit... if since young, this habit already happen le, quite probable it might happen in a r/s.... it depends on how truthful the other party wants to be to u.....
i noe it's hard but... the path that u have chosen.... u can carry on wif it, i'm still gd frens wif my ex... =)
juz let urself take a break from all this thinking, blaming, and ranting..... u hurt urself each time u do that.... juz take time, to forget abt the unhappiness..., after which, u have to give urself a chance to pick urself up, and fall in love again.... u dun juz give up on urself.... cause no one can help u after u do that.....

i am getting better each day..i use to cry for the past few mths every nite...till i sleep but i becoming to get use to it...and cry less...

most R/S that last for long is because gf is possessive and the bf gives in, i.e. the guys is damn good catch for any girl
what i can conclude abt your ex-bf is....
he is not gentleman, he is a flirt
he is not very attentive to u and basically sick of u, if not y he want to hide so many things from u as it is so damn obvious that confirm this will lead to break up.
no point thinking abt him now as he probably forget abt u and is happily with the gals around him -

I feel that you are not the case of being possessive, do not overly worry too much; its just you can't trust him base on the fact that you know he cannot be trusted. Such relationship, very often, have similiar ending - goodbye. Trust is not a good-to-have element - its essential to ensure a relationship to flow hamoniously and properly. Like kidney stone - it hinders the growth of your relationship when it's being mis-placed.
P.S: One note for you guys/girls out there - going out with the opposite gender all that doesn't mean anything - the problem only occurs when you LIE about it.
