  If people are doing it and you are influenced into that category - all I can say is: weak willed, envy and doesn't have a mind of your own.
  
  It takes more character in trying to prevent yourself from slipping into it. Yes, people are doing it - but deep within them, people that are involved/affected, you think they are truely happy?
