when i used to drive in australia, i always sent one of my female colleagues home to her bf (who was also my colleague - but works different shift) and then i'd go home to my gf.
we all lived really close to each other.
if my gf gets a lift home on a regular basis from a guy that was totally out of the way for him, then that's a different matter. i'd question the "generousity" of this gentleman, and the "exploiting manner" of my gf. i'll tell her, surely u can't let him run one big round to go home everyday, just so he can give u a lift? -

Then it's up to the gal to reject, isnt it? Like what was mentioned earlier, it amounts to how much self-control and self-discipline one is. Surely when a gal know one guy is advancing and she's attached, she'll do all she can to try to ward off his attacks. Unless she's one who likes attention and fancy the guy in a certain way? Same senario can happen to a guy as well with a gal who's coming on strongly while knowing he's attached too. Maybe, try asking youself, 'What will you do given the same situation', that will be a reasonably good answer to what your gf will do/has to do/ought to do.

The minute someone lies about his action - his motive is questioned.
Won't confront that guy over such small things - probably a gentle reminder and notice to my gf and she, being a girl, would probably sense it a mile away before I do.

Currently, where I am working is about 2 hours bus journey from my home. Of course I will take a lift from a male colleague.
