Then again if your gf/bf is the sort who 'jumps ship' (Sorry for making it so harsh) then I supposed he/she can't really give you the assurance/security he/she wont do it for someone else (who can be your friend or just someone he/she chances upon). If so, dont you think this person is someone you'll be better off without?
Likewise for your friend, I believe in this ethic code (Jiang Hu Dao Yi) between guys/gals that 'Never to touch my friend's gal/guy'.

if he didn't know she was your gf, then i won't blame him. but when he already knows it, i will tell him to f uc k off and know when to stop.
if he is my best friend, he will know that he have to back out of it when he found out that she was my gf. -
Will ask my bf what he thinks...If he likes my buddy, I will back out lor..I dun want a man who dun love me. I will still be very good with my buddy lo..But in reality, I'm sure my buddy and I will not fall for the same person..haha..If it happens one day, and the man is interested in my buddy, I'm pretty sure both of us will not want him.

you like her..that's a fact..he likes her..that's a fact too..he doesn't owe you anything to back off like that..just do your best and don't worry about the rest..don't let jealousy ruin your relationship..if your girlfriend is attractive..he's probably not your 1st competitor and sure as heck won't be your last..don't focus too much special attention on him..expend your energies improving your own chances instead.

If your partner is more committed towards u then its no problem at all. But if he/she is shaken, then mayb its fair to just let him or her decide since there is nothing u can do to change the fact that there is this 3rd party.
As a guy, I wont really fall out with my best frend if they both really got together.. but then again, things between the 3 of us will not really be as comforting as b4.... maybe let things take its course.. -
