Too vague? I think there're probably much more factors to consider for a dream... 1. Dream Prediction from what I know is not a 100% way to make all sort of deductions in life, may it be based on the more scientific or the more supernatural... It may give you clues to some things which is unrelated to what you wish to know from it.
2. Dream opposite or not opposite can be a 50-50 thing if it's purely coincidence and not correlated. You might have some HINT if you draw LARGE enough a SAMPLE (which is quite unlikely from your posting of topic in here). And in actualy fact, it might not even have a correlation......

I still remember last time i dream of:
in a underground carpark my father and i wearing ragged clothes were chased by fierce dogs
the impact of the dream was so powerful that i still remember up till today

Not to think or puzzle too much about your dream. I am a person that always dream of something when i fall asleep, even a short nap. Sometimes its a repeated dream, sometimes its part 2.
It can be something that you saw early in the day or week that you didn't realise it and it flashes back again in your dream. It can be also something that you think of and it confuse with something else and appeared in your dream.
I have learn to enjoy having a dream like watching a movie. When you wake up, the movie end.
