Serious, I personally feel weird...... if I meet my ex.... cause it feels weird trying not to love her as a lover but as a friend.
but love doesn't just encompass around boy-girl relationship. There is love between friends. If you still have feelings for your ex, then try your very best to show love to him by be supportive to his cause and towards mutual friendship.
It's always a tragedy and mistake to break off all ties after a relationship. Make no mistake even you feel the pain of self-sacrifices. -

erm i don't think it's possible to have a platonic relationship between a boy and a girl, and i'm no longer keeping in touch wif my ex coz it'll be too painful even to look at her, let alone still remain as friends.

I think it depends on why the break up and hows the break up.
I have a peaceful broke off therefore I can still talk to my ex and going to her wedding next year.. -

Important issues would be the reason(s) for the break up and what kinda character and mentality both of you holds.
I guess the pros would be it might easier to communicate (provided that the couple wasn't having any problem on this earlier) with someone who used to be that close, you tends to be able to share more things (provided that the partner (still) can be trusted) because you would have probably shared quite alot with him in the past?
Cons would be some slight embarassments in some cases. Possibility of one party thinking of a patch back while the other don't. Know each other TOO WELL hence in much faults in each other. etc.
Think too many to be listed down for both pros and cons?

it's over does not mean it did not happen.....break up liao still can be frens....some can even be soulmates cos they understand each other bery well liao........ -

Possible only if both parties feel its possible and wants to keep things this way.
Most of the time it would only take place as well if the break up isn't very horrible. (E.g. Two timing, screwing around, etc) -
