Have you wondered why on earth did you fall for him/her among the thousands of people that you could have met on the street? Or why on Earth did you fell for this jerk/biatch that you knew you will be hurt ultimately in the end?
Love and Reincarnation works closely hand-in-hand.
In astrology, the number of Saturn aspects between couples signify the degree and number of times the couple have their fate significiantly brush across. Some of these bonds are fruits of their good relationships in past times brought over this lifetime - thus harmonious and blessed relationship is granted.
While many others have difficult conflict, trials, test that they have to go through before they are enlightened to a point where 'destruction of past behavior before crystalisation of good ones can come in.'
Christian believed that reincarnation is a myth not a fact - then why are you borned into this particular family, falling in love with that particular guy/girl, ended in marriage with (possible another) that particular him/her? The karmic bonds that instill in your immediate relatives are strong and unescapable. Some have good families/love relationship, while others have hellhole. These are debts to be paid or receive from the past. If recarnation doesn't exist - everyone in this world should be equal-standing family influence & love relationship. When first badge of human arrive into this world - probably this can take place (after countless recarnation, this no longer exist)
Love works way differently from that of the mind - everyone have their own destiny when it comes to their own love relationship: the events that will take place, the people they will meet, etc.
Understand and realise that behavior in every relationship is different. And criticial flaws that you have to overcome this lifetime - if it isn't improved or change - chances are: it will likely to affect you next relationship again. This is a classic example of people losing a relationship and failling to learn the lesson behind it.
People may understand their partners very well - but I seldom see anyone understanding their own relationship. Let me stress that Love cosmic lesson stated that not every relationship is marriage-and-happily-ever-after kind. Even those that are not, they are there for a reasons and marriage too isn't always forever (The Ninth law of Love states that Marriage is not forever.) Sign for Karmic relationship: Strong magnetic attraction - includes love at first sight, losing-me-into-you, dreams, etc.
P.S: Paying debts from past life sounded ridiculous? Ask those people who have been through countless of breaking-patching from the same gf/bf, even though repeated reinforcing has been advised from friends, family, etc to leave him/her - that poor soul couldn't and wouldn't. Only when the debts are fully paid - he/she will be enlightened and leave automatically.

BTW do you mean that new souls are always being created and some old ones destroyed? Else why is the population increasing and then decreasing? If the same number of souls are recycling, then one day there will be a constant population isnt it? -

i ever heard of sth at a Buddhist talk that said a bad soul may split into 500 small little souls to fit into ants...because that soul has simply done too much bad deeds.
i certainly believe in logic over reincarnation...why are our backgrounds different...why some pple have stormy relationships...why some pple are born rich...etc
in all, we shld just do good and see whats in store on our next lives...
