Just a question: Why should she treat you differently?
You know, many a times when we like someone, we fail to think and consider certain side of the square which made it seemed so problematic and demoralising.

It has nothing to do with your age, young and should concentrate on your studies (although it pretty advisable to). It has nothing to do with your 'Not good enough for her' (Brain defensive mechanism to protect the mind)

Rather it the kind of motivation, drive, attitude towards your future love and relationship.

You mean next time when you are ready to date and the same situation occur you are going to delude yourself that you ain't good for her, again?
If I were your case, even if she treats me this way, I wouldn't even feel anything, probably because we are just causal friend and your demands and expectation cannot be like so high and it simply means that more work must be done because we ain't as good as I thought it to be.

P.S: Finish what you start. Don't vanish halfway without a trace. Even if it simply leads to nowhere, probably a good conclusion would be desirable. You mentioned you gonna give up - sure its firm decision? I doubt so. She is still single I suppose? Then why give up?

Cheers
