It shouldn't matter for the past is not to be spoken. If spoken, its more of a privilege than a right - therefore again, you shouldn't abuse privileges and make a mountain out of a mole hill. This applies to already in relationship context.

Back to topic ... ... "Yes" and "No" would be my answer. Yes to things that you should know, so that you can know the person better. "No" to things which only harm and not help your relationship. What's the point in knowing something that he/ she has done wrong and have since changed? It may only bring torture to the other party, rite? -
