How to Forget???

I just broke up with my gf. We are in a long distance relationship. I feel very very sad, I don't know how to forget her. I've even planned to proposed to her. How could she do this to me so suddenly? But no matter what I do, she don't want to patch things up. She even started going out with another guy right after we broke up. I am really devastated and feeling really suicidal, but strangely I still love her very much no matter how much I tell myself to hate her. Is it possible for me to win her back? even after she has already got a new boy friend? Anybody out there have experience where they got back together with their ex gf after a certain period of breaking up? For some strange reason, I really think she's the one for me. But I feel so helpless now. Please advice

but we move on.. live on.. time will heal...
a relationship is 2 way.. she does not want to, nothing on earth can change this... you have to accept it, and try your damnest to move on..

Ah, another long distance relationship (LDR) that came to an unfortunate end. Well, by now, you ought to realise a few things about LDR:
I) Discipline of all forms must be instill, from both party, for without physical presence, the other party isn't here to cater to your possible needs. If not, the likelihood of breaking is very high.
II) LDR is not your usual, common and normal kind of BGR relationship you are leading; everything must be twice da effort.
III) Main reason why LDR fail is almost always because of the failure of (I) from one party, which result in the dating of other people, in consideration of a potential parter.
P.S: Even if you were to propose - its utterly foolish to do it right after your come back. You just never know what has really happen during this period of time. By the way, if she can't even survive the test of this transitory separation, do you think she is in and ready for marriage?

Win her back? I think you better start thinking about getting yourself back 1st before you even think about the previous question... Who would wanna accept a suicidal guy especially right after she've just rejected him? Out of sympathetic...? And just how strong or long is that sympathetic's gonna last?

Hi pal, sorry to hear that....it happens to anyone...I'm also trying to heal my devastating wound too..U know, when I was in NS, I got to know a friend who came back after his studies in the US to serve NS. Somehow, his gf decided to leave him and he was so devastated that he nearly broke NS rule and try to fly back to America. His days after were submerged in sorrow.......
Anyway, after seeing so many advices from the kind pals here, I also feel that one must move on somehow..
It is hard...it is very sad...(and i still cry like a gal at times when I longed for her)...I feel that I still need to move on....no matter how hard it is......that's life........

If let's say we broke up and she got a new guy pretty fast after that, do you think it's still third party influence? Of course after she broke up with me, she has the freedom to look for other guys right?

I tried all sorts of way to try win her back...but till now, no success..Before u start feeling suicidal again....think it through....."Is it really worth it?"...."Have u considered that if anything happens to u, what will happen to those who cares about u?"...."Maybe it's really fate/destined that she is not for u?"..
I know how hard it is for u now...cos I am still feeling it...but we need to handle this situation! Although memories will never be erased....we must never let it overcome us to move forward....whenever memories appear, try think of other things....we really need to move on...no matter...how hard.... -

But in my opinion..that is purely my opinion..usually once a gal breaks off with a guy...she will usually take a while to 'regain confidence' in a new relationship. My personal view is that if that gal is able to find a 'new love' pretty soon, then there are only 2 reasons: 1) She has known that guy for quite some time, and already wants to start a relationship with him thus ending the current one 2) She treats relationships lightly...
There may be other reasons....but it's what I perceive at this moment.. -
am i being too persistent by calling her everyday even though everytime she just give some excuse like she's too busy to talk... etc etc...

i patched up with my gf.... but the problems is she is cold towards me most of the time..... so ask yourself wll everything b ok after patching up?

Just wrote to her an email, first time never begged her to come back, instead letting her know that I am getting on with my own life. still love her, but beginning to see the point, that I need to set her free, see her happy in her life, like she would be too if she sees me happy. she hasn't replied any of my emails, begging her, but if she replies this one, mission accomplished, we can still be close friends, end of one chapter in my life
