doesn't realyl matter... as long as you're happy with the relationship that's the most important. Give you Ms Universe, but can't communicate well also no use.. in a r/s there's usually one that is loving, and one being love at first.. with proper communication it usually ends off pretty well.

It is more noble to love rather than be loved, for it brings forth the idea of self-sacrifice and chivalry. So in that sense it is better, I love people but people don't love me and I accept it, in a way I love and am not loved. That is the only form of contentment i achieve.
But at other times, sometimes i am NASTY. Sometimes it is better not to love because it never pays off, you can shower care/concearn for others but never get any care in return when u have troubles. Which drives one towards depression, darkness and evil. Economically, it is thus better to be loved, for u reap profit without much cost. -
THe ideal situation would be mutual love...
However....reality is often cruel....in most relationships...the contribution is usually imbalanced...
Personally feels that .... Being loved is definitely better than to love...
At least there's someone who will definitely be there for you.... -
i preferref to be loved...
so that i wouldnt be so hurt if anything goes wrong...
kinda selfish huh...
but this time i think i really loved some1 liao...

as a gal, i feel tat to b loved is better cos u'll b showered wif all the love n care..
BUT to love n to b lovedat e same time is MUCH MUCH better....

best to be 2 way...if its juz one sided, the party who is always 'clapping' will get tired very easily n tt's when the table is turned against u...

there is no balanced relationship, one side will always be contributing more. the one effort can be to try to leverage this imbalance.
i believe that most will prefer to be loved. but at the end of the day, what's love if you don't love?

I think mutual love is the happiest. But like you, if gotta choose only one, I still prefer to be loved. It's a bit selfish I guess but it's indeed less 'emotionally painful' to love someone. -

It has to be mutual! Love someone but not being loved in return? Loved by someone who you don't love? It's a misery too..
