I been doing badly for my past 2 years of secondary school due to over addicted to computer games.. now i have 2 month of school holiday and i decided to work hard.. as my 'O' level is coming soon.. so i set a schedule for myself.. but my body just dont seems to follow it... playing computer games is just like a daily routine for me.. everytime i wake up i will press the on button of the computer automatically and will play the whole day except for lunch and dinner.. any suggestion to help me follow my schedule and lessen the amount of computer games i play?

Can I say, throw your pc away?? Dun go cybercafe..dun study in somewhere where there is a computer. It's still up to you..be more self-disciplined. -
Your level of addiction... Difficult to control? Don't think of LESSENING the amount of time for computer games... You have to STAY AWAY from it... You know COMPUTER GAMES.... You just keep going and going.... And time can really flies.... So the next time you think of STARTING ANY computer game, just remember your own GOAL... i used 2 disassemble everything & keep 'em in d storerm...
motivation iz 2 put 'em 2getha again & start playing once examz r over... -
hahaha. to me, the worst consequence is always the best lesson.
carry on to play your computer game and fail ur O level. and once you do, the addiction will naturally go away.
but have no fear, u get to take it again the following year, without the similar addiction. -

oh well.Im in the same situation as you but one thing I noe for sure,YOU WILL REGRET,jus like me now.
Im awake almost everynite,Im scared of slping.everytime I slp,i dream of me failing my N lvls..
Worse of all.the game tat I've been "chionging" for the past 5 months is closing down.I realy realy regret not studying..haiz..anyone can help me..wat if i realy fail my N lvls..haiz.cant go to sec 5..dun wana go ITE.haiz haiz. -

Worse of all.the game tat I've been "chionging" for the past 5 months is closing down.I realy realy regret not studying..haiz..anyone can help me..wat if i realy fail my N lvls..haiz.cant go to sec 5..dun wana go ITE.haiz haiz. chiong ur redspot 10 yr series now. here's some advice, O levels exam papers got obvious trend one. anybody can score purely by trend analysis using past year papers. don't really need to fully understand the subjects at all. and the depth of the subject that can be examined during O levels is constrained by the time limit of 2 hours (or something like that) and the limited number of questions that must be attempted during that time. hence, out of the piles of text you are given to study, you can easily infer what can be tested and what can never appear. filter out irrelevant material and lighten your load since given the little time left, avoiding the risk of surprise questions is no longer on option for you. N levels are even simpler. abuse the flawed system bcos dats wat its for. all the best. -

thanx for the response guys.. but the problem is.. now its not the game problem.. its the boredom.. i have nothing to do everyday but just loiter around.. whenever i try to do some studying my body just cant stay at the same spot for more den 15 mins.. my mind just wander off like.. wat show is on tv now.. wat should i eat for dinner and stuff.. my body just cant take the idea of studying..
Any suggestion to improve my situation..

Not sure if it's gonna be the same situation with the others... But from my own personal past experience... The closer the friend(s), the higher the tendency for us to end up chatting or such rather than studying...?
