Generally how long would you get to know the person or date the person before going steady?

3mth?
6mth?

Would you think getting attached within a month is too fast? -
i have seen shorter.... of course, it wouldnt last.
though there is no specify guideline as in when it is suitable, i would say an average of three months and above.. -

I would say a month is fast... of course depends on how many times you see the person, some pple only see each other during weekends... seeing someone everyday speeds things up... -

No exact time. When the time is right you will know. This kind of thing automatically one, battery not required.

quick quick come, quick quick go. 1 mth is too fast for me. for me the quckest comfortable is 3 to 4 mths... the most ideal is at least 6 mths. i prefer knowing as a friend first before getting into a relationship.Originally posted by :Guys, gals...

Dun think so leh. I prefer getting attached to someone without the "friendship period" first. Cuz liddat will feel very weird. Firstly, will treasure the friednship a lot, and scared of cannot attach, can't even be friends liao. Secondly, if as friends know each other very well already, then when finally attached will have no more element of surprise liao, and feeling of something fresh and new. to be frank... to know someone is not easy task
i may know that person for a long long time
but u still may not be able to understand her/him so well
time wil change one person's character -
fast or not also depends on how often you meet up with that person in that space of 1/2/6 months or a year. Time is not crucial here, its more often how much time you have committed to that other person and getting to know him or her.. if you meet her everyday for one month and get very close within a few weeks also can still build sufficient foundation for a relationship..

Well, Mi n my hubby noe each other onli 4 a mth den together liao... Til now loh...
Depends on each lah... My case is like... we both haf tat special feelin liao, n there's smthin drawin us closer. So, naturally we juz end up together... Up til now. -
Smtimes time is not e factor lah... Doesnt reali matter how long u both noe each other liao. Itz e feelin tat counts...
Like mi n my ex~ I noe him since sec 1, like him since sec 2, together wif him aft 'o' levels... In e end oso break... I've known him 4 like... 4 yrs den end up together become couple. But oso break! -
At least you guys are lucky ! You guys at least can get into a relationship..... But for me,the girl that i love is leaving me and not coming back to singapore anymore......
Both of us love each other , just becoz we are living in different country and facing family problem....we are unable to go into a relationship.......
I guess god isnt that fair to all of us at all..........
