would you help an ex finanically?

If you know that your recent ex is having financial difficulty and he is in a foreign land, would you help? he didn't ask for help but you know how tough things are when you are in a foreign land and have to self support.

coz i ever helped my ex before and the favour was not "returned" when i subsequently needed help from him.. not finanically though.. but its definitely within his means...
and he kept procrastinating the payment til now.. its been almost 2 yrs.. -
humm... i was thinking of helping without thinking about the repayment....

I have a friend now, sort of in dilemma.
When they were together, he sub a credit card to the gal. Then they broke off, and the gal has amassed quite a substantial amount of credit, which my friend has cleared, but she has yet to return him the money (they agreed that she has to repay the amount)
So dun mess around with $$$, unless ... well, she is your wife/hubby. Keep $$$ out of the love equation first.

i know ex are history but just couldn't bear to know he is in difficulty. i guess like choc b said, ex or not, if fren i would help.
just hope he doesn't use this to think i am still interested in him. argh.. y am i so soft hearted... -

i experienced before my ex...
called mi and says that he has some fianical problems
he need my help by loaning him some cash
without second thought i told him that i will help him to raise the cash for him
i also know that very well that he might be making use of mi by that
and i may not get back the cash from after i loan it to him
but i tried my best asking ard for helps from my parents & my friends
some of them scolded mi and some rejected mi
in the end i'm able to raise the amt
i meet him one day hand over the cash to him
from that day onwards,
he had just gone disappear like that
i tried all way and methods in reaching him but unsuccessful..
i had learnt a lesson by that
Honestly i had never felt regret
Because i loved him -
so far
money lent was return..
so wan to borrow again ..if within my means...shd be okie -
I will, within my means of course, because she deserves it.. hmmm. & I'll be glad I'm able to help her in any way I can
