Not true...? I've given that a thought before... I used to think the same way as you do. Then you'll have to realise that not all medications are meant to be absorbed by the body 'quickly'... And I believe such would usually comes in a liquid form...?
Take a good example would be antibiotics capsules. Why does some medications which comes in powder form have to be packed in a capsule? I would like to think it's to prevent it from dispersing?
Such medications which are capsules or tablets are generally 'targetted' forms I believe? To allow them to be swallowed but not deactivated by the many enzymatic activities in our body and the extreme pH?
When taking medications especially antibiotics, it's better (important) to follow the instructions closely as duration, dosage and comsumption methods are usually important for them to take effect properly.....
