Shy infront of girls?

How do you overcome that? i see sum ppl can talk so freely, but when i talk to em i kinda get a lil embarrassed and get paranoid if anything's wrong with me as in physical look. does that hav anything 2 do wif self confidence?

When you are shy, you are not comfortable with your environment, although you speak much less and become very conscious and aware of your environment. With strong self confidence, your environment is merely a place & people and you are able to behave the usual way you always do.

i think advisor yunhaier more or less sums up the reason behind. and i think sunny's solution is very good. when you know that you have made an effort to look good, your confidence and self-esteem will increase. and this is infact the easiest way. also, try to speak more.....start with your group of buddies first. you can do it.

don worry... i oso have the same prob... i now chasing a gal from irc. who so happened to have met me ONCE when i was in her school. but i no notice her...y ? bcos i was like u , embarassed when teachers n students were staring at me cos of my gold hair. damn i regret being so timid but we were bornt like this. accept it n try to change. me trying my best to change le worz wish me luck horz

same problem as me lei.. with own frens whom i noe.. very noisy and crappy.. when alone, kinda quite..
and chatting with pple whom i juz noe its kinda stammer and duno hw to contd.. damn sianz..
and when stranger duno me say, they'll say my looks can sort of kill pple.. haiz..

if u haf ur self esteem, u wud not be scared of talking to strangers (be they gals or guys).
but i mus admit, it depends on the context. if i noe the gals r like someone i wont be interested (and she wont be interested in me), e.g. my fren's gf, i wont feel shy meeting and talking to her. but if its like someone whom i mabbe interested in, den diff story...

hmm... now that i've realised, some gals whom i'll nv b attracted to i have no problems, like those plump ones (no offence). but those "roxy"girls (observation) always... arrg...
