falling for a colleague

  for the past 4 mths...i'm having a crush on this colleague. he caught my eye on one fine day..We know each others existance..but we nv had a formal intro. so everytime we juz pass by each other like that.
  
  We haf been exchanging glances for the past 4 mths+..
  I saw him a few times looking at me when he's alone..
  one incident is when he was waiting for the lift..i was like ard 10 metres behind him at a corner. He knows i'm there, he turned baq.. we look at each other for like 5 seconds..b4 i turn away..
  up till today..we are still doing the same thing. juz look at each other.
  few days baq..i'm playing cards wif my other colleagues. he stood behind me..nt those exactly behind..but sort of.. less than a metre away..
  
  how do i know if he is feeling the same as i am..?
  or am i juz..plain stupid?

  You have to ask. Find a chance to ask him out maybe for dinner. It would be really sweet. I'm sure he wun reject your offer.

  Hai.. it all started almost the same as.. sweet memories..
  Anyway.. are u two from the same department?
  Or is there anyway u two can exchange documents or have a discussion on work?

  The last thing you will do is to scare him off by telling how you feel or even tell it to your other colleague whom will likely to tell him. Get to know him as a friends first - anything else cannot function or take place without this happening.
  
  P.S: Office relationship is a tricky ground to play in. Suggestion advice is to avoid.

  Just flash him your nicest smile to show him you are a friendly approachable person when he steal glances at you again... perhaps what he need is reassurance from you that you are approachable?? after all the both of you do work in the same office .... even if nothing comes up in the end, you do gain a friend isn't it ?? No harm ....

  I think you should just go and talk to him in a friendly way, saying "hi" is a great way to start off...

  mmm u know the answer yah, ur instinct wont get you wrong...so at least u are infatuated...
  
  it is not impossible to have a colleague as ur stead...but just be careful of backstabbing. basically u dont have to talk abt work ...if not, you may leak things which will become the next day hottest gossip.
  
  i know if such a r/ship blossom will have pressure...i almost got into one...tongues can wag longer than you think.
  
  to start off...prob ask abt work...then later progress to some casual conversation. you need to know if he shares the same wavelength as you...looks alone doesnt count for a r/ship.

  we belong to 2 diff depts. so its hard to get contact into one another.. plus.. he's one of the management pple.. makes it even harder ..

  my 2 cents worth are that, the best way to defeat a crush ---- is to get to know him better. i think crushes are so because people admire other people from afar!! you don't see the bad side but only the good side. you don't see the kind of personality that you might not like because u don't know him. once u get to know him better... i think it'll just fade away because it's not that easy to find the right one. if it doesn't then, congrats, you've found the one. but u also have a bigger headache...... but that can wait

  hmms.. so ur department & his is like fire & water la.. impossible to come in contact one huh... tough tough..
  How abt hmms... does ur company have like D&D hehee.. or like activites.. my company use to have bowling outings.. etc.
  Such activites aim is to let each department get to know other departments better so maybe u shld make use of such activites to sort of get closer to him?

  yes gossips can kill... just because her colleagues caught me talking to her they started all the gossips and now the gal will try her best to avoid me... i can only stop all of them from gossiping and lower the chance of having many people ard us when i need to talk to her about work else they will start making fun of her again... sigh why can't these pple grow up... i thot this will only happen during my JC times...
  Just say hi to him next time u see him and that may bring him to initiate a conversation with u... and maybe even more
  sometimes guys just want to be sure that they wont be embrassed for doing some things... its a matter of 'face'
