hi all. well, i am always so bored .... coz i really have lil friends ... like what some say, i am a lone ranger sort of. i wonder how you ppl able to make so many friends sia ... really hurts when i see my friends having a great time with other friends and i am alone at home listening to music ...
how do you ppl actually get so sociable? i mean... deep in my heart i really wanna have more friends and just to be happy everyday ...
any comments/suggestions about this ppl? -

u started right by participating in a forum.......as this place is free of face-to-face interaction, u are more likely to speak more freely and not restricting urself......
be more active and talk in the discussion threads.....this aid in ur composition and flow of ideas and opinions.....
next up, join outings organised by the forumites......
as u have "talked" them most of them in forums, u more or less know them oredi, so u wun have the stranger feeling when u meet them up close and personal.... -
see the Outing Owls forums.. and the various outings done by the other forums..
if open invitation, just drop a note in, and join in...
people are friendly!
come, expand your social circle... try to mix around, or slowly slowly join in.. we won't bite

oh i see...thanks for replying.. i had change my user( i am luv_shereen ) lol coz tt previous acc is made just for buying something here lol.
ya.. i do participate in forums but its like ... no single friends share the same interest as me... i like music( BoA ) , comics, tw drama , online rpg yet most of my friends dont share the same interest .
i only got a group of 10 friends or so who share the same interest which is basketball...then rest all are just jokers, fooling around etc they nv get interested in things like music etc. -

uhh.. the forums people have interests so diverse it's amazing

btw, do you ppl think that shopping in a group is better than alone? its like ..if ya shop alone, ya cant share ur tots or opinions or maybe joy with others when ya see something ya like...
secondly, its like looks really matters on making friends....tt is the world.... i look tired all day long and i wear specs and seldom style my hair so i looked like some studying nerd when going to sch so i always get make fun of by those malays whom i meet on the way...i seldom care about them but its very irritating...i do study but i dont go to the extend of nerd..i also wanna have fun in a party or wadever...( btw i am 16 this yr )
thirdly, ppl tend to make friends with those who are more popular ... esp gals... so till now , i dont really have much female friends...i am not into those relationships yet...just wanna get more friends coz gals usually are the more sociable ones and tend to know more things with them...and i am always like...alone in a corner in daze, slping etc... i do have friends in my class ( sec 4 so during sec3 got seperated from those basketball friends ) but its like its alreadi 1yr + and i am still so "extra" in their " group" ... -

I would prefer shopping alone. When I shop with people, the only opinions i get is 'if u like, then buy lor.'. When I shop alone, i think i tend to make better comparisons.

In this point of time, yes it seems alot like looks matters the most. But eventually you'll realise its more than just looks than bring about something good in the long run.

I know roughly how that feels, like being an 'extra' in a group. I've been through those days as well. Just be yourself. Things will work out eventually. Its not so bad being a lone ranger at times you know. -

& I dun really feel lifeless or bored. I got many things to ponder abt & before I perish, I have to settle it all. -
2/3 of ur life...erm..means almost same as me...1/3 in sch and 2/3 at home...thats why i am bored...
