Nah...
Actually ur experiences shape u as a person. It juz depends on wat u CHOOSE to do wif the experience. Do u wanna learn from it & move on & make the next 1 better, or do u wanna continue to wallow in self-pity (I've repeated this ad nauseum, actually *laffs*)?
Let's put it this way... Some pple r blessed in tt all their paths r smooth, they find The One prettie quickly, they go straight thru from pri sch to uni, scoring straight As, or @ least a B avg. They go on to successful careers, etc. Yet, their lives haf been so smooth, they haven't been tested. 1 day, 1 of these thgs dun go as planned, & these pple dunno wat to do, their lives fall apart.
Then u haf the other type of pple, those whose academic lives din go tt smoothly. They stopped for a while to work before pursuing further education. They learnt street-smarts, they were roughened & toughened. They had to go thru many r'ships, many biotches or jerks in order to find The One. But when they do find Him/Her, they oredi learnt enuff lessons to treasure Him/Her.
Of cosh there're oso those who gave up, which I din mention here. But main pt of cheongheyness: Experiences change u, they aren't necessarily bad : )
