why should sex sell?

do you feel that there is too much sex on tv? examine programs like "are you hot", "bachelor", "temptation island", "hotel paradise", "survivor". more often than not, there is hardly any educational value in these shows. granted, tv need not be educational but are the tv stations in singapore reducing to feeding the audience with mindless shows showing lots of flesh in order to raise tv ratings? no difference between soft porn is there? Even if the shows were not directly about sex, it is still more often than not, about physical beauty. About how being attractive gets you places and how every should strive to be pretty even if it goes to the extend of going under the knife. what are your views? how does this impact you? or your family? or your peers? or your social outlook in life?

it impacts a lot.. but i'm not married.. if i were, it'll be a great opportunity to teach my children what is going on.. and try not to be as shallow as the world
anyway, i don't watch those "reality" programs... they're irritating as all heck and that's the trailers! -
