Wonder why guys always like to discuss business in a nite club.... I feel very uneasy(dunno what the feeling... perhaps jealous too) when my bf told mi he have to cancel my date as he have to accompany some of his customers/clients to these nite spots...
Juz couldn't help to have the feeling of him flirting with some other gers... Pls advice

Personally, I think one of the advantages of discussing business there is that there are a lot of distraction. Can distract the client and ask them to sign here here and here.

i as a guy dunno why girls like to go coffee clubs drink coffee....girls go coffee club to discuss biz(gossip, study, chit chat, catch up, talk business)
the same theory applies to guys, just that we prefer pubs/nite spots to do the same thing girls do at coffee clubs. i prefer to chit chat, catch up, talk business at nite spots.
ppl will feel insecure even guys. so it's normal for u to feel this way. but as time passes, u'll get used to it and if your bf dun stray, he is worth it. u cannot help it bah. but if he always cancel your date over clients, i think he see his career as more important than u. but if u confirm he dun see his career as important, then maybe something is wrong in cancelling date with u bah. unless u 2 are over honeymoon period and he is been sian together with u. -
Well, this is a Singaporean or rather Chinese business culture, business goes along with entertainment or food. But try not to practise this in Vietnam or Japan, where discussion of business over a game of golf is frowned upon.

Basically, its one only thing why business deals are at night clubs, to enjoy themselves, to spend on alcohol and gals. Its simple as that.
Any serious business contract or deals, would be transaction in a quiet meeting room. Why? You need the light to read the fine print. -

btw, pardon mi if I happen to offend any1 Usually because night club gives a rather informal and relax feel, furthermore with liquour and woman - it makes the deal much easier to clinch as communication flows.
The other reason is because of impression - if companies can't afford decent entertainment/place for client to discuss their stuff, client may feel that the company may not be sincere/cheapstake/etc and this would lower chances of getting the deal.
