i don't know how to explain this. hope it makes sense:
gal likes guy A. gal gets to know guy B and thinks guy B is nice also. recently guy B reveals he likes gal and gal decides to give guy B a chance as it is impossible between guy A and her.
confusion1:
recently gal got to know guy A likes someone else and feels sad when she heard the news.
does she still guy A or is it something else?
confusion2:
gal does not feel as strongly for guy B as compared to previous ex-s.
should she stop or just continue and see what happens?

Yes, you still like Guy A. And it is very normal for you to feel that way. Simply because the fact that you felt jealous.
No, stay put in the situation for Guy B. Don't do anything as yet. I suspect he could be the nearest guy available for you to fall back on. Plus the fact that he is nice and all.
Chances are, you will regret your hasty choice. Just give Guy B and yourself a while more to see whether the "feeling" is there. When you think it through and is sure that he is not a subsituition, then mai tu liao. -

The is the problem of people giving a relationship a try instead of knowing what they want to go for them. Usually trying will always be trying - guy B is someone that happened to be there. The girl accepted him because she wants to give a chance to him (of course he must have decent qualities that she could accept as well) Seriously speaking, is that liking - difficult to say. Usually, in this case, girl would have to spend more time within the relationship to see if he really like the guy.
She should have attempted a final attempt at Guy A before she settle for anyone else. At least she would know that she did what she could and still cannot be together - ok, fair enough. Move on. A half-hearted, ill planned switch will cause misery in the future because she will never know when will the hidden feelings for Guy A popped back again.
But since the girl has already went so far - drop the idea of Guy A. Feelings can remain, but choice has go on. Doesn't matter because you pursuit your own form of happiness and his as well. If you have love him, you should be feeling gald that he has found someone else - instead of being self absorbed.
Learn to lead your relationship well. Drop ideas that could shake your relationship.

it seems everyone thinks the gal should stay with guy b first. the gal just thought she should end it before things get deeper as she is afraid she might end up hurting guy b's feelings.
as for guy a, she did expressed her liking for him but was rejected. yun is right, she should be happy that guy a is pursuing his own happiness -
hey....u sounded like the situation i'm in now as in i'm in the situation of guy B and i dunno how the gal feel abt guy A at the moment. hahaha....i shall give u some pointers from my point of view as guy B. if guy B noes a bit of guy A's situation, i think u should clarify with B if got chance bah. gal is currently dating guy b so i guess that means guy b got chance?
anyway u are right, guy b seems to want to take it really slow even though the gal is ready to go a bit faster. maybe guy b is right bah, slow and steady....

i don't date more than one guy at a time lah.. anyway my meaning of date is pretty conservative.. when i date someone means that person got chance one... i don't date date just for date sake... -
